An Alchemy Sage Calls Act 4 Location: Dining room, of course. People in scene: Alex, Jenna, Sheba. Alex: Umm... why are you looking at me like that, Jenna? [cringes further against the wall] Jenna: You knew her... Alex: Nonsense, what made you think that? Jenna: You were seeing her... that time you were hardly ever there, when you didn't wish to see me, you were with... Mia?! Alex: I knew somebody named Mary Aquarius, yes... Jenna: You were having an affair! Alex: But we aren't married! Jenna: [lunges across the room and tries to hit him with Dragon Fume] DIE! Alex: O_O [teleports] Jenna: [spins around and leaps over a chair, casting Flare Storm] CHEATER! Alex: O_O [teleports] Jenna: [jumps onto the table and directs a Searing Beam at him] YOU'LL PAY! Alex: O_O; [teleports behind Jenna] Jenna: Ugh, now where did he get to? [turns and glares at Alex] You scumbag... Alex: =\ You know, I'm hoping Kraden doesn't know... then I'll be okay... Jenna: Oh, no, you won't! Alex: You aren't going to tell Kraden, are you? T_T Jenna: [smirks, then bends over, kneeling on the table, and starts laughing hysterically] Sheba: That's it, she's flipped. Alex: Jenna? Jenna: [wipes her eyes, still laughing hysterically] I don't need to! Alex: Look, Kraden's no Jupiter Adept... Jenna: He already knows! Kraden knows everything! Alex: Kraden's not a god, he couldn't possibly know! Jenna: [leaps off the table, still laughing] Just wait and see... Alex: Come on, you wouldn't tell, I haven't seen Mia or Mary or whoever for at least six months, really... Jenna: Actually, you saw her this morning in the studio. Alex: o.o' Don't be silly. Jenna: [sticks her tongue out] Sheba: The pinnacle of immaturity... [Kraden comes in] Alex: Hello, Kraden [smiles fakely] Jenna: [grins] Kraden: ...well then? Jenna: [bursts out laughing again] See? What did I say? Alex: Awwww, crap-monkeys! >_< Jenna: [still laughing] Alex: Kraden, I think Jenna should go now... Kraden: Oh really? And why is that? Alex: You don't need to ask her anything else. Jenna: But, Alex, I want to know everything including your story. Don't think you'll get away with keeping secrets from me! Alex: Why would I? Jenna: [glares] Alex: Really, Jenna... Jenna: You think I'm stupid don't you? You think I'm evil for getting Mia fired and that I should be locked away in jail? I HATE YOU, ALEX! Alex: o_O' I never said... Jenna: Why would you? Geez, you two really are like children sometimes, despite the fact that you are obviously not children anymore... Jenna just wants to stay because she's morbid, she's fascinated by the tale of a grisly death which took place this very night and she wants to know of each event which led up to it... Jenna: Yes, I want to know why she committed suicide! Kraden: You can be so morbid sometimes... Alex: Tell me, when that boulder came rolling down, were your eyes wide open? Jenna: [whacks Alex with her rod] Alex: OW! Olivia: [comes rushing in] Felix is being very sick. His dad's nearly lost his sanity, trying to sort Felix out. Sheba: I'll go and help! [rushes out] Jenna: O_O Felix is sick? Alex: Must have been the cider... Olivia: Felix has made a horrible mess and he can't stop throwing up... Jenna: Thanks for the image, Mom! Alex: He's been drinking all night, what did you expect? Kraden: You'd think he would have realised he was getting drunk... Henry: [comes in] I've tried telling Felix to get to bed, but he won't... Felix: [follows] I DONT WANT TO GO TO BED! I DON'T WANNA! Sheba: [follows Felix] Come on, Felix, sit down... Felix: NO! I WANT MORE NON-ALCOHOLIC CIDER! Jenna: Ugh! [throws a bottle of 'non-alcoholic' cider at Felix] Alex: O_O No! Kraden: What the- Olivia: Jenna! =O Henry: Duck! Felix: Where? Sheba: [nimbly catches the bottle and hands it to Felix with a glass] There you go! Felix: Yay! [hugs the bottle and sits down, pouring the cider into the glass] Alex: Jenna, that was dangerous! Jenna: [shrugs] Felix is irritating me. Kraden: Felix, you're supposed to leave and wait for your cue! Felix: I don't like cues! Olivia: Hey, he's stopped- Felix: :hic: Henry: Spoke too soon. Kraden: Now, Alex, tell us about Mary Aquarius. Alex: Huh? What gave you the impression I knew this Mary whoever? Kraden: Come on, spit it out or we'll be here all night... Jenna: [glares pointedly at Alex] Alex: ...alright... it all began.. ~ FLASHBACK ~ [Alex is standing in a cafe, looking around curiously. He looks across towards a table where Mia, and Isaac, are sitting. Mia is dressed in a plain white dress with a white hat and her hair down. Isaac is dressed in a suit, and also has pillows wedged up his shirt, to make him look extremely fat] Isaac: Please, my windows will amaze you, they are triple-glazing- Mia: And would they block out the noise of annoying salesmen talking too much? Isaac: I have no idea, but you really need- Mia: I'M NOT INTERESTED! Isaac: They are the best around, you know you want them really- Mia: I just said- Isaac: I don't take no for an answer, now- Mia: You can- Isaac: They are dirt cheap- Mia: [throws a frantic glance in Alex's direction] Alex: Hmm... hey, person who owns this café? Person who owns the café: Hmm, yes? Alex: Isaac the Bogus Salesman is bothering somebody again. Person who owns the café: HEY, ISAAC! Isaac: And everybody has- huh, what do you want? Person who owns the café: Your mom called, she wants you to get home right now Isaac: Aww, not fair! (To Mia) See you later! [rushes off] Mia: [sighs heavily] What luck... Alex: Hey, are you alright? Mia: No, not after that stupid idiot salesman tried to sell me WINDOWS... I don't even have a home- ooops... hehehehe, I don't have a NICE home I meant... Alex: [sits next to Mia] You don't have a home? Mia: Course I do. [stomach growls] Alex: I take it you are hungry too. Mia: So? Alex: How much money have you even got? Mia: Not much... [Mia and Alex go outside and walk along a dozen or so streets] Mia: So, where are you taking me? Alex: To my house for a while, until we can make temporary arrangements. [Mia and Alex go to Alex's 'house' and sit down with drinks] Alex: So, tell me about yourself. Mia: Ok! My name's Mi- Mary Aquarius, and I used to work in a place called Vale, I used to have two jobs too. The first time I lost it because I was being a very naughty little rebel, the second I lost because some freaky girl kicked me out for smiling at her. Alex: Must have been a heck of a touchy girl. Mia: I know! Well... I'm starving... Alex: Hold on, I'll go get food. Mia: Where am I going to spend the night? Alex: On the sofa. Mia: o_O ... Wow. How chivalrous of you. Alex: I like my bed, thanks. (Alex: In the end, she sort of moved in. We were quite comfortable living together for a bit.) (Jenna: So THAT's why you never let me come to your house!) (Alex: Actually, no, I just didn't want you near my hair supplies.) (Jenna: [smacks him]) [A 'few nights later' Alex and Mia are listening to music and talking] Mia: I like the music! Alex: Yeah, the music's really cool... Mia: Isn't that from 'Mercury Clan Track Records'? Alex: I guess... Mia: The same CD that mysteriously went missing from my dressing room? Alex: Ahem, let's not spoil the script with your accusations. Mia: YOU STOLE IT! [tackles Alex] Alex: YAHHH! Hey, you never even bought it in the first place! Mia: DIE! Alex: Mia, the PLAY! CUT! CAMERA! Mia: The camera isn't going to cut! [punches Alex] Alex: Do you realise the script says we have to very nearly have an intimate moment? Mia: ... I think lying on top of you is going a little bit too far... Alex: Not my idea... Mia: Let's just get it over with... [almost kisses Alex] Alex: [almost kisses Mia] [The record which is playing the CD suddenly explodes for no reason at all] Alex/Mia: OH NO, MY CD! YOUR CD? (Alex: And over time...) (Kraden: I know, you fell in love.) (Alex: I didn't feel the same way about her she felt about me, really!) (Jenna: YEAH RIGHT!) (Alex: OK, ok, maybe I did for a little while... but in the end, it grew sour...) [Mia is sitting in the lounge, packing her bag. Alex comes in.] Alex: What's wrong? Mia: You don't love me. Alex: What makes you say that? Mia: I read your diary. Alex: Who said you could do that? Mia: >_> Anyway, you love someone else so... Alex: You're really nosy... Mia: I'm leaving. ^_^ Alex: But who will take care of you? Mia: I'll take care of myself, I'll be fine. Alex... Alex: Hmm? Mia: Thank you for taking me in, it was the best time of my life. But all good things have to come to an end. Alex: Ok, fine... [hands Mia some gold coins] Mia: Bye, Alex... [heads towards the door] Alex: Bye, Mia... [waves her off as she exits, slamming the door behind her] Mia: [opens the door] It's Mary, damn it! Alex: ... [smacks head] You know what? I don't care. Mia: ... Fine. Keep on messing up the play, dunderhead. [leaves] ~ END FLASHBACK ~ Jenna: Alex... Alex: =\ So, what became of her? Kraden: Apparently, she harboured some strange desire to go to the seaside, so I guess she did, but I really do not know what happened next which really is a bit pathetic when you realise that all this information is coming from me, who is supposed to know just about everything, although I wouldn't mind learning a bit more... Felix: :hic: Sheba: Poor Felix... [gives him more... you guessed it] Felix: YAY!!! [hugs the cup of cider] Sheba: ... Olivia: [sniffle] What a touching tale... Henry: o_O Alex: Can I go now? Jenna: [runs in front of the door and looks very evil] NO! Alex: =\ Kraden: I would let you since I have nothing more to ask you, but it seems that Jenna does not wish for you to go so I guess you are doomed to stay. Alex: What if I teleport? Jenna: You wouldn't dare! Felix: I'll rip your stupid HEAD off if you teleport! Sheba: Go for it, Felix! Olivia: That's not very nice. Oh wait, he's an insane megalomaniac. Do it, Felix. Felix: ... Do what now? o_o What were we talking about again? Henry: Well, who is the next victim then? Alex: [sits on a chair, and starts almost crying] Jenna: Awww! Poor baby! Sheba: That's my line! Alex: ... You're mean. Sheba: Yeah, who's next? Kraden: I am delighted to tell each and every one of you that there are indeed only two more people left to interrogate. The first person I shall pick out of the 'lucky' two is Mrs Olivia Venus. Felix: Yay, Mom! Olivia: O_o Felix, we're not meant to be pleased. Felix: Why? Sheba: Because Kraden's evil that's why!
